Flag patches need accurate color matching and clean detail work. Thin stripes, small stars, and fine emblem elements have to read correctly at a glance, at both small and large patch sizes.

Embroidered flag patches reproduce fine detail like stars and crests with raised thread texture, while PVC flag patches use bold, solid color blocks that hold up better in outdoor and tactical conditions but simplify very fine detail. Full-color flag patches use the flag's official colors. Subdued (or "low-vis") versions use a single muted tone, typically grey, tan, or black-on-black, for tactical and uniform applications where a low profile matters more than visibility. We can also combine a flag with unit text, a crest, or a multi-flag layout for coalition teams and joint operations.

Flag Accuracy and Digital Approval

Flag designs require careful attention to stripe order, emblem position, proportions and orientation. Before production, we provide a digital proof showing the finished shape, dimensions, colours, border and backing. Check whether the flag should appear in its standard direction or as a reversed, forward-facing sleeve flag. Production begins after your approval. Actual thread, PVC or printed colours may vary slightly from colours displayed on a screen.

Upload an official vector file in AI, EPS, PDF or SVG format whenever possible. High-resolution PNG and JPG files are also accepted. Include the exact flag name or version, finished width and height, required orientation, garment placement, construction type and backing. For sleeve patches, specify the left or right sleeve and whether a standard or reversed flag is required. Provide Pantone, thread or other colour references when precise color matching is important.

Create national, regional, military, organizational or event flag patches in embroidered, woven, printed or flexible PVC construction. embroidery gives flags a traditional raised texture, while woven construction retains smaller symbols and lettering. Printed patches are better for gradients and highly detailed emblems, and PVC suits outdoor equipment. Choose a merrowed or heat-cut edge with sew-on, iron-on or securely stitched hook-and-loop backing.
