Product Details

Custom Velcro patches use a removable hook-and-loop backing, allowing the patch to be attached, repositioned or replaced without permanently sewing it to the item. At YallaPatches, the Velcro backing is securely stitched to the patch for dependable use on uniforms, jackets, tactical vests, hats, equipment bags and compatible loop panels.

Our military Velcro patches and tactical Velcro patches are available in embroidered, woven and PVC styles. Each design can be customized by shape, size, colour, border and material. Velcro logo patches are suitable for company branding, clubs and teams, while custom Velcro name patches provide clear identification for staff, security personnel, military units and workwear.

Velcro patches for backpacks, travel bags and outdoor equipment make it easy to change names, logos, flags or unit identifiers when needed. Whether you require one Velcro name patch or a bulk order of custom patches, upload your artwork and specifications to receive a digital proof before production.

Not sure which material suits your design? Embroidery provides a traditional stitched finish, woven patches reproduce finer text, and PVC offers a flexible, waterproof surface. Our team will review your artwork and recommend the most suitable option.

Features

Custom Velcro patches use a securely stitched hook-and-loop backing for easy attachment, removal and repositioning. Choose embroidered, woven or PVC patches in your preferred shape, size, colours and border style for uniforms, tactical gear, jackets, hats and backpacks.

How to Apply Velcro Patches

Place the hook-backed patch over a compatible loop panel, align it carefully and press firmly from the centre towards the edges. If the item does not already have a loop panel, one can be sewn onto the fabric. To remove the patch, lift it slowly from one edge without pulling the fabric.

Upload Your Artwork

Upload your logo, name, emblem or artwork in JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, SVG, AI, EPS, PSD or CDR format. Vector files are preferred, but clear images and sketches can also be reviewed. A digital proof will be prepared for your approval before production begins.

Production and Shipping

Production starts after the artwork and specifications are approved. The timeline depends on the patch material, design complexity and order quantity. Completed Velcro patches are inspected, packed and dispatched with tracking, with delivery time varying by destination.

Backing compatibility guide

What actually matters for Velcro patches

Velcro patches, also called hook-and-loop patches, need two matching surfaces. The hook backing on the patch grips a loop panel already fitted to the item. It will not attach securely to plain denim, jackets or backpacks unless a loop panel is sewn on first.

Does your gear have a loop panel?

Check the item before ordering so the backing matches the surface you plan to use.

Ready to attach
Tactical vests, plate carriers & MOLLE/PALS gear

These items often include a built-in loop panel, allowing a hook-backed patch to attach directly without sewing.

Usually compatible
Patch-ready uniforms & workwear

Security, military and some hospitality uniforms may have a loop panel fitted to the sleeve or chest. Check the garment specification first.

Check the surface
Backpacks & bags

Some tactical and outdoor bags include a loop panel. Most casual and fashion bags do not, so inspect the attachment area before ordering.

Add a loop panel
Plain jackets, denim & civilian clothing

Standard fabric is not a loop surface. Add a separate sew-on loop panel first, or choose an iron-on or sew-on patch backing instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before ordering.

At YallaPatches, the hook-and-loop backing is stitched securely to the patch rather than simply heat-pressed or glued. This helps the backing remain attached during regular use.

Velcro backing can be added to embroidered, woven and PVC patches. Embroidery creates a traditional stitched finish, woven material suits fine text, and PVC works well for waterproof tactical or outdoor patches.

Yes. We produce military Velcro patches, tactical patches, unit emblems, rank patches, flag patches and name identifiers. Permission may be required when reproducing protected military, government or organizational insignia.

Choose Velcro when the patch must be removed, replaced or transferred between items. Iron on backing is better for a more permanent attachment to compatible fabrics. Sew-on backing provides the strongest fixed application.
